Role Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic Growth Manager or Annotator Team Manager to join our team, depending on your expertise. This role will be pivotal in either:

  • Scaling our user acquisition, engagement, and retention (Growth), or
  • Overseeing a team of annotators to deliver high-quality, timely data for our AI models (Annotator Management)

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to align strategies with business goals and AI roadmap priorities.

Key Responsibilities

For Growth Manager

  • Develop and execute growth strategies
Drive data-driven strategies to acquire, activate, and retain users (e.g., clients, platform users) across digital marketing, partnerships, and referral channels.

  • Analyze and optimize performance
Study user behavior, funnel metrics, and conversion rates to identify growth opportunities and optimize campaigns.

  • Run A/B tests
Experiment with onboarding flows, pricing models, and marketing messaging to improve user retention and lifetime value (LTV).

  • Product and sales alignment
Collaborate with product teams to prioritize features that impact growth, and with sales to align acquisition strategies with market needs.

  • Metrics & reporting
Track key growth metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, conversion rates) and report insights to stakeholders to refine strategy.

For Annotator Team Manager

  • Lead annotator operations
Manage a team of [X] data annotators, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality annotated data (e.g., text, images, audio) for model training.

  • Quality control
Develop and enforce QA protocols, including regular audits to maintain accuracy for use cases like NLP, object detection, and sentiment analysis.

  • Workflow optimization
Improve annotation workflows using tools (e.g., Label Studio, Prodigy) and automation to increase throughput and minimize errors.

  • Training & onboarding
Design and deliver training programs to align annotators with project standards and AI objectives.

  • Performance monitoring
Track team performance metrics (e.g., speed, accuracy, guideline compliance), and implement feedback and incentive programs.

  • Collaboration with AI teams
Work with data scientists and engineers to refine annotation taxonomies and align with model requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, either:

    • In growth strategy (for Growth Manager), or
    • In data annotation/AI operations team management (for Annotator Team Manager)
  • For Growth:

    • Familiarity with user acquisition, A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
  • For Annotator Management:

    • Understanding of AI/ML data needs (e.g., NLP, computer vision) and hands-on experience with annotation tools
  • Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make data-informed decisions

  • Leadership & communication: Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally

  • Mindset:

    • Quality-focused (for Annotator Manager), or
    • Scale-focused (for Growth Manager)
  • Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s a plus)
